The Stages of human resource planning

The human Resource Planning process starts from the need of the firm. The firm plans the need of applicants acc. To their need in order that they will make available the simplest applicant for the simplest job.

Here are the steps in Human Resource Planning Process-

Forecasting the Demand of HR:- Firstly, we’ve to forecast whether we’ve requirement of Employees in our firm in future or not. According to that, we forecast which also depends upon the subsequent factors-

External Challenges:- This factor plays an excellent role in Human Resource Planning Process. The challenges are often economic development, social, political, technological development, competition etc.

Organizational Decision:- Suppose if we will have a requirement of 20 employees but all depends upon the choice of Organization. What the highest Level decide, that becomes the choice. So, organizational decision plays an excellent role in forecasting the demand.

Workforce Factor:- Demand creates the need for a workforce. The firm needs to consider the long term demand of the product in order that they will forecast the workforce. If there’ll be a requirement of Human resources in future, then they take this to a different step otherwise not.

Forecasting Techniques:- We will also forecast the demand by the forecasting techniques like Workforce Analysis, Job Analysis then on.
