Bitcoin’s dominance over the cryptocurrency industry, user base, and popularity persists. The development of decentralised financial (Defi) systems is aided by the existence of alternative virtual currencies like Ethereum. Altcoins, or shitcoins, as imitators of Bitcoin are sometimes referred to, have attempted to market themselves as better or more secure alternatives to Bitcoin. The ability to process more transactions per second or to employ alternative consensus algorithms like proof of stake are two examples of how some altcoins have been praised as improvements over Bitcoin. While some alternative cryptocurrencies may offer useful functionality that Bitcoin lacks, none have come close to Bitcoin’s networks in terms of security. In this post, we take a look at the 10 altcoins that we believe will outperform Bitcoin by 2023.

Ethereum

When compared to bitcoin, Ethereum stands out. Cryptocurrencies have recently set new marks, solidifying their market position. Developers can use the Ether network to build their own cryptocurrencies. Although it entered the market several years after other cryptocurrencies, its innovative technology has propelled it to the top of the heap. As one of the best cryptocurrencies, it is poised to lead the way in the year-end uptrend.
