Emotion:
An emotion is simply a feeling or sensation caused by a person’s perception about something or someone.
Emotions are our thoughts — felt physically. The basic emotions are
Fear, Contempt, Disgust, Anger, Sadness, Happiness, Surprise .
How we experience the emotion and how we behave in response to the emotion?
EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE :
Emotional intelligence is a different type of intelligence. It’s about being “HEART SMART”, not just “BOOK SMART”.
EI is about: Being able to recognize and manage your emotions appropriately. Being able to recognize and effectively deal with others' emotions. Being able to motivate yourself and maintain successful relationships.
In short, EI is the skill of perceiving, understanding, and effectively managing emotions like anger, happiness, anxiety humor, sadness, fear, and love.
